Fixed mosquito screens
Fixed mosquito screens offer complete protection for doors and windows that are not opened on a regular basis.
Their frame is made of high-strength extruded aluminium, while the net is resistant to minor scratches and is made of weather insensitive polycarbonate fibers.
The net doesn’t significantly impede normal air flow or ventilation.
Fixed mosquito screens can be built-in or added on.
The frame is made of aluminum ‘L’ profile which adheres to a window/doorframe on the outside and is in the same plane as its outside surface. It is mounted from the inside using swivel hooks which enable very simple and easy installation and dismantling if necessary.
The advantage of this type of mosquito screen is that it cannot be taken off from the outside while the window is open.
Built-in mosquito screens are used on windows and doors on upper floors and other places where it is not possible to mount a mosquito screen from the outside. They are not meant for surfaces bigger than 1,5 m2
They are mounted from the outside directly onto the window-frame using screws or special ‘Z’ purlins. They are usually used on basement windows. They have a sturdy aluminum frame with a polycarbonate net. They also offer great protection against rodents, lizards and snakes
Both types of fixed mosquito screens can be delivered in white and brown colours.
Mosquito nets can be ordered in other colors at an additional cost.
Fixed mosquito screens have a 12 month warranty.
